Muppalla Cricket Association will be organizing "Muppalla [YSR memorial ] Premier League (MPL)" in January every year, as a platform for talented cricketers to compete for Prizes and Awards at Muppalla village."The Muppalla Premier League (MPL) T-20 cricket tournament is scheduled to be held at Dr.Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy Z.P.H. School Cricket ground, here from January 10 to January 25," said MPL comitee Chairman & Vice-chairmanCh.Padhmanabha Reddy and K.Surendra Reddy [Mutyam] addressing a press meet here on Tuesday dec 14.
He said that the last 5 seasons of MPL had been organised with the support of MPL Former cricketers [ kondayya sir, subba reddy, Krishna...etc
MPL selection comitee head Dr.P Kondaiha said, "The tournament will witness the participation of sixteen teams and 200 cricket players. Depending on the involvement of private team owners, around ten auctioned teams will vie for the MPL trophy."
The tournament will witness participation of sixteen teams and 200 players. sixteen auctioned teams from among Muppalla, Paidipadu, KSB Palem, PSB Palem, Kovur, Narsingolu, Kamepalli, Pandhalapadu...etc they will vie for the MPL trophy, he informed.
About Organiser (Muppalla Cricket Association) :Muppalla Regional Cricket Academy is a premier seasoned ball cricket playing Academy of the state started in 2011. It has guided and inspired many rural cricketers who have played under the club and also represented the zone.
